George Barna is a professor at Arizona Christian University and the President of the Cultural Research Center at ACU. The Cultural Research Center was formed by Arizona Christian University, in partnership with Dr. George Barna to produce credible, non-partisan research and analysis establishing the transformational impact of a biblical worldview on American culture.
Dr. Barna has also written more than 50 books. His books address cultural trends, leadership, spiritual development, and church dynamics, and include multiple New York Times bestsellers and several award-winning titles.
Dr. Barna has sold more books based on survey research related to matters of faith than any author in American history. More than 200 of his articles have been published in professional journals or mass-market publications and he has been named by multiple media outlets as one of the nation’s most influential Christian leaders.
Dr. Barna graduated summa cum laude from Boston College, earned two Master’s degrees from Rutgers University and has a doctorate from Dallas Baptist University. He is also a Fellow at the Townsend Institute, has taught at the undergraduate and graduate level, and has pastored two churches.
